Bas Janssen new managing director Amacom, The Amazing Company B.V.

Effective immediately, Bas Janssen is the new Managing Director of Amacom, The Amazing Company B.V. Janssen hereby takes over from co-founder Dick Engels who recently announced his departure from Amacom at the end of this calendar year after a period of more than 23 years.

Bas Janssen (43) has gained broad experience in financial and general management over the past 15 years. Since 2017 he worked for ALSO, one of the leading technology providers for the ICT industry, currently active in 28 European countries. ALSO supplies hardware, software and IT services from over 700 vendors to more than 120,000 resellers. Bas Janssen has held various positions at senior management level within ALSO (including Managing Director ALSO Netherlands) and most recently served as Managing Director of ALSO Belgium prior to his move to Amacom. In the period before ALSO he has worked for KPMG, FrieslandCampina and Sherwin-Williams, among others.

Bas Janssen is looking forward to putting his knowledge and experience into practice at Amacom and building on the solid foundation that Amacom has laid in recent years: "I am enormously honored to serve as Managing Director of Amacom, Megami, Joint Advantage and Exertis Pro AV.
